Floating Porcelain Staircase
Polished large-format porcelain on an open stair, lit by a full-height window.
The job
Polished tiles on stairs show every imperfection, so every tread was checked with a straight-edge before adhesive. The landing and the floor below were laid in the same tile so the stair reads as one piece of stone.
