Herringbone Pool Deck & Patio

The job

The architect wanted the patio to read as one continuous surface from the sliding doors to the pool coping. We set out the herringbone from the centre of the main opening so every cut at the edges is mirrored, and laid the pavers on exterior flexible adhesive over a screed with 1:80 falls away from the house. The pool deck was tiled first so the coping could be matched to the pattern.
